Social Committee

We all enjoy those wonderful events we have at the beautiful clubhouse!  All of these activities lead to good times, lots of fun, and a great way to get to know your neighbors.

The Social Committee is responsible for the planning of events and activities, distributing invitations to the community, welcoming new residents, as well as the set- up and clean-up of the function. They also coordinate the refreshments, purchase what else is needed and do the decorating. In addition, the committee organizes volunteers to manage events, including activities related to the rental of the clubhouse facilities.

These are regularly scheduled events:

• Friday Night “Fun and Frolic” (Check the website and the Bulletin Board at the Clubhouse for dates.)
• The 4th of July Celebration
• Newcomers’ Night(s)
• Holiday Party
• Educational events scheduled on an as-needed basis

This is a fun group doing a great job helping to make each season in our neighborhood memorable! Commitment is only a minimal amount of hours because of the limited number of events. The Committee could use a couple of extra hands from time to time. Volunteering to help out these few times a year can easily fit into anyone’s busy schedule.
