Maintenance Committee
The purpose of the Maintenance Committee is to identify and prioritize matters related to the maintenance, repair and replacement of building structures, facilities, streets and other physical assets that are Association responsibility.
The Association is responsible for maintaining these building and common area assets with the costs of maintenance supported by the dues paid by each homeowner:
Our Association is growing older – and not always gracefully. Dry rot, leaking pipes, water intrusion, and even some structural defects seem to be the order of the day. The Board is committed to protecting and maintaining the value of our property. We need your help to do so and to avoid a “band-aid” mentality. |
What can you do?
1. Volunteer! We welcome all residents to join the maintenance committee. If you have any experience in construction, design, or architecture, that’s even better.
2. Physically inspect the components of our community. Whether it’s your own unit or a separate element you notice, contact the management company if you feel that a repair is necessary.
3. Be patient. The Board will make a studied determination on when a situation requires remedy. We have prioritized the components and address safety concerns on an emergency basis.
4. Be responsible. Carry insurance, understand what you as a Homeowner are accountable for, and provide regular maintenance checks and repairs on your unit.
